Sachin Shroff apart from his hectic shoot for a daily soap has taken time off to do a short film. We got in touch with him to find out more about it.

A happy Sachin said, " Yes I am doing a short film titled Raakh, which is produced by Jay Soni, the Chief Editor of Punar Vivah on Zee TV. The short film we have made is primarily for an International Film Festival.

The concept of the film is very simple. It is about a superstar who loses his stardom and how his girlfriend who is seen creating misunderstandings on purpose leaves him. She eventually dies in the film as she is suffering from a grave disease. All that she leaves for the superstar is her ashes.

The short film is shot at the beautiful locale of Goa including the ancient bridge in Old Goa. The film will be screened at an International Film Festival where it will undergo thorough scrutiny of the panelists hence the end product is extremely crucial.

The story is about a Superstar and I think the only superstar of our  Industry is Rajesh Khanna."
