Tellybuzz had earlier reported that Aroona Irani's Naaginn..Wadon ki Agnipariksha would be making a comeback on the channel and that the pre-production work for the same had already begun. But for the past few weeks, the work had been put on halt as they were waiting for the channel's response.

The latest we hear is that A.K. Production would not be rolling out with Naagin in the coming future.

A source informs, "The screenplay, script and writing for the Season 2 was all done but it was not that promising to come up once again. The show was anyway going for a weekend slot and not as a daily. But as the channel and the production house were not convinced with the format of the show, they decided to drop the idea."

We contacted Aroona Irani who states, "Yes, things were not working as the script was not that convincing for us. So it was both, the channels and our decision to come up with Naagin sometime later."

It must surely be disappointing news for all the Naagin fans…
