Gungun Uprari to star in Mere Sang Dol Tu

Gungun Uprari to join cast of BBC's next on Star Plus...

Tellybuzz had earlier reported about BBC production house launching a new show titled Sang Mere Dol Tu for Star Plus.  Nikhil Advani would be directing the show for which pilot has already been shot with well known actor Varun Kapoor along with two fresh faces Chhavi Pandey and Mundit Nair who are finalized to essay the main leads.

A source informs, "Gungun Uprari last seen in Imagine TV's Haar Jeet would essay the mother of a girl child who has a fetish for dance but because of her husband's restrictions, she takes a back seat but wants her child to be a good dancer too."

"The role of Gungun is somewhat on the similar lines of Aishwarya Rai from the film Mohabatein where in spite of being dead she is always with Shah Rukh in spirit, "adds source.
 
We contacted Gungun Uprari who says, "Well we have shot for the pilot hope it gets approved by the channel."

    Okay, so lets just list out the new shows SP has lined up:

    1. Some Karan Wahi Show (I really dunno the name!)

    2. Khaamoshiyaan

    3. Saasuma

    4. Mere Sang Dol Tu

    5. Sajda (Which already got a slot)

    SP has begun to air shows from 6PM to 11 30PM, and they have FOUR more shows lined up. The other prime time shows don't look as if they're gonna be axed soon. So when does SP plan to air all these shows? Considering the pilot shoots for ALL the upcoming shows have been shot? Confused

    Star plus needed another show as Hamari devrani and sapno se bhare naina ended
    Sajda tere pyar mein replaces one and there was space for another
    Hope is does well

    Another show on SP. What it's going on. Why is SP taking new shows! Hmm.. I think SP will cut all the reairing timeslots and put new shows instead. It will be better than ending the ungoing shows.
