'Me, Ajji Aur Saheb' gets new Ajji!

Replacing the not so famous face, Smita Oak will play Ajji in Imagine's Next...

Shakuntalam Telefilms' next venture on Imagine, titled Me Ajji Aur Saheb, which is expected to go on  air from the 6th of February, is replacing its Dharampatni.

As per the promos, the character of Ajji was essayed by a not so famous face. But since the character is a pivotal one, the production house has replaced the actress who was initially finalized to essay Ajji.

So now Smita Oak, seen in Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta as Rasika Tai will now essay Ajji in the show.

"The show will initially establish the background of the show and within 15 days, it will take a leap. The real actors will enter then",adds the source.

All our efforts to contact Smita Oak were in vain.

Imagine gives you a fresh line up of shows with Me, Ajji Aur Saheb followed by Rajan Shahi's Jamuna Paar.

    agree charu... DP fans must really b feeling vry bad...
    and seriously, good actors n production house should think 1000 times before launching their shows on this stupid channel!!!

    I wish Aasiya and Harshad all the best for the future and would strongly advice them to put a clause in their contract that if the show is on Imagine then they will not take it.

    Imagine is such a big loser... They should evaluate how they run their channel and shows!

    @ ShimmerinShine - Agree wid u!!! Whether i m gonna watch it or not, i too feel that Ajji was more suitable!!! I even felt a little bad for that actress.. Poor her, she must b happy on getting a role on prime time slot.. :(
    Nwayss.. Want HC soon on a channel that values actors!!!! :D

    i believe dharampatni was supposed to be a modern day adaptation of the life of gandhi and kasturba...but ended up become a regular love story...i wish the actors best of luck...and better shows ahead...

    DP is the last show I will watch on Imagine...Aasiya and Harshard are fab actors who should be on a fab channel...I wish you no viewers in the future imagine and none of my fav actors to grace your channel!

    The Ajji shown in the promos was sweet !! n she seemed to justify the role ... No offence meant this one ( new ajji ) looks a lil scary :-s ... nonetheless it looks a interesting story ... :)

    Imagine!!! You guys are seriously too much!! Just coz of this show my fav CGM is going to b weekly from bi weekly!!!! :( n i m feeling this sad, i can really understand wat DP fans must be going through!! :s
    The show has got awesome actors HC, AK, Supriya ji n all others! It even had a strong story line, Sad creatives could not live upto da promises made by the awesome promos!!! But channel should really have given some chance for da story to get on track..
    Now onwards good actors n production house should think 1000 times before launching their shows on this stupid channel!!!
    Wish DP cast a good luck.. Wish they get something deserving on a better channel than this Rakhi veena ki jay ho channel! Huh...
