Gurmeet Choudhary and Kratika Sengar in Punar Vivaah

Gurmeet and Kratika are roped in to play the leads in Sashi-Sumeet Mittal's next on Zee TV


Shashi-Sumeet Mittal, makers of the hit show on Star Plus, Diya Aur Baati Hum, are all set to bring in their new show for Zee TV.  The show which is titled as Punar Vivaah will have Gurmeet Choudhary and Kratika Sengar playing the main leads.

After portraying the powerful and bold character of Laxmi in Zee TV's popular show Ek Veer Stree ki Kahaani Jhansi Ki Rani, Kratika Sengar will be seen in a diametrically opposite role in the upcoming show. Gurmeet Choudhary, popularly known as Maan Singh Khurana of Star One's Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, will be opposite Kratika as the male lead.

A source says, "Punar Vivaah is a love story with a difference. It narrates the story of a couple who is forced to stay together under tough circumstances and how their emotions and feelings bring them together."

When contacted, Kratika Sengar confirmed, "Yes, I am a part of the show and I am really glad that it has happened to me. After Jhansi, I always wanted to come back to television with a romantic show.
 
Gurmeet Choudhary remained unavailable for comment.

We hear that the actors have already shot for the promo and the show will hit television screens,early February.

Seems like the fans of Gurmeet Choudhary and Kratika Sengar have got their reason to celebrate.

    Gurmeet and Kratika are AMAZING in this show and their characters haven't even truly come face-to-face yet. When that does happen, I know that every scene is going to be nothing less than explosive. If today's 'Kun Faya Kun' sequence was ethereal, I don't think I'll have many other words left to describe their scenes in the future.

    ohh god people here are bashing kratika..calling she is ugly???how dare they??looks like they have won miss universe award..goshh...who have give them right of bashing her looks???and if after watching jhansi ki rani you are saying this then i have to say you don't have eyes...if u don't like her don't comment on her..but don't hurt her fans and give identity of ur cheap mentality

    Chandani, the show has been postponed by 2 weeks. PV will now start from 20th February... Whats the reason for the delay... can anybody out here enlighten me? Me missing GC alot :(
