Sooraj Thapar approached for Balaji's next on Sony TV!

After his double role in Maurya, he may also play an important role in Balaji's next...

Tellybuzz had earlier reported about Balaji Telefilm's plan of coming up with a show on Sony TV's, loosely based on the concept of the movie Biwi No. 1.

We come up with some more information about the development. It is believed that Mona singh and Pawan Shankar, who were finalized for the lead roles, are shooting their first promo today.

We also hear that Sooraj Thapar who is currently seen in imagine TV's Chandragupta Maurya has also been approached for Balaji's show on Sony TV.

He has been approached to play the character of Anil Kapoor in Biwi No. 1.

We contacted Sooraj Thapar who confirms, "Yes, they have approached me. Talks are on but nothing is finalized yet."

The promo of this show will soon hit TV screens, so watch it!

    A truly versatile actor, can do from comedy to intense role with equal conviction, the young lot should learn to act from him, not only how to act but also how to depict the character fully that you don't feel he is not what he is portraying. Alok does sound like a Dehlite , his accent is very impressive along with the dialogue delivery . He is over all one of the best actors like Sudhir Panday who can do any role .

    sooraj ji is a very suttle actor..he carries off his charactr both in SGP nd CGM very very well..hez really great.all d best sooraj ji..hope u'll b able to manage d 3 shows together..best wishes!!..
