Rehaan Roy to play an important role in Star Plus' next

The Bengal superstar has been approached to play a pivotal role in Ravi Ojha's next...

The super brain behind Star Plus' popular show Sasural Genda Phool, Ravi Ojha is all set to make another show on the same channel tentatively titled as Sajda. This will be a different love story about a college going girl.

We hear that the production house has roped in Rehaan Roy to play the parallel lead on the show. Though Rehaan is a new face in the Hindi television industry, he is extremely popular in Bengal as he played the lead character of Ishaan in the Bengali version of Sasural Genda Phool.

We contacted Rehaan Roy who told us "It's too early to talk about anything right now."

Shaleen Bhanot who was last seen on Imagine's Do Hanson Ka Jodaa will play the lead on the show and Chavi Pandey will play the female lead."

The show is expected to go on floors from November.

    Y Maryada . It is the best show on Indian television ... If by Youth show you mean to say shows on Star 1 where actors only have eye locks .. and no story line then have to say Maryada is way more better than those Youth shows ..Common 30+ 28+ actors are playing college kids .. Ha ha ...Youth shows really needed but not those shallow youth shows ..Indian tv needs youth shows with modern approach and story line today's youth can connect ...STAR 1 tried to prove that Youth only means love story ..There needs a change ..They have so many problems .. show them I will call it a genuine youth show ...

    SP people gone mad ... Daily article for one new show what a crap..n plss if want to axed some go for YRKK, Maryada , Pratigya ..or opt for after noon slot ..all rubbish serial are telecast in afternoon slot ..

    They shud end shows like yeh rishta, dor, pratigya, maryada...
    n start showing all youth oriented shows on Star plus...!!!!! :-D :-)
