Unlike the previous era where television shows would easily grab the eye, the small screen industry today has become more vulnerable. As they are susceptible, the shows are immediately shown the door by the channel. After Colors' Hamari Saas Leela , one such testimony has recently hit Tellybuzz.
A little birdie from the industry quips, "Maximum Entertainment's Hi! Padosi...Kaun hai Doshi? was kept under the scanner as the show was not able to gain good TRP's even after making innumerable innovations. However, the channel has given a last chance to the makers to revamp and improve the quality of the feature or else it would have to be shelved."
According to the sources, the production house granted some incentives to the channel which helped the show to stick on air. As the channel decided to pull the show, the shooting for the same was stopped. Now that it has been granted an extension they have resumed shooting at a new location from today. There may also be a few new entries to spice up the story line.
When contacted Ankur Joshi, he stated, "Yes, the show has got an extension but right now I can't say much about the duration. And the buzz about the genre is true."
We hope that the show is able to fulfill the channel's demands and continues to entertain our viewers!
