Priyamvada Kant who debuted with Bairi Piya on Colors gets back to the channel with a meaty role in Hamari Saas Leela. The actress has been roped in to play the third bahu of Leela (Apara Mehta), and wife of Devang (Prateek Shukla).

TellyBuzz had recently reported about Devang stealing the big money of five lakhs from his father's personal account. The latest development in the story line is that Devang is actually in love with a model Payal, which will be essayed by Priyamvada.

Our source states, "Payal is not from a conservative family; she is a girl who leads an exuberant life style, something which Leela does not approve of in her bahu. Devang who is madly in love with Payal realizes that his mother will never agree to their marriage. Hence he decides to steal the money and elope with his girl friend and marry her. However, his parents are not able to bear this shock. Madhusudhan in fact breaks down and suffers a heart attack (Contrary to our earlier story which talked of Leela suffering from an attack), and it is Leela who drives her husband to the hospital at the right time to save him".

We hear that Payal's entry will happen soon after Madhusudan recovers, right at the time when the whole family is celebrating the wedding anniversary of Leela and Madhusudan. It will be a shocker for the audience as Devang and Payal enter in their bridal attire after their marriage.

We tried contacting Priyamvada, but she remained unavailable for comment.

We hear that Priyamvada will start her shoot from today.
