Gopi Desai bags another DJ's show with Dharampatni..

Veteran actress Gopi Desai creates a hat trick of sorts by bagging a vital role in DJ's upcoming show for Imagine..

Gopi Desai played the role of the ruthless Ammaji to perfection in DJ's Creative Unit's Season 1 of Chhoti Bahu. She is presently seen playing the affectionate Daima to Dev in the second season of the same show. And now the lady has bagged the prized role of playing the grand mother of the lead Kastur (Aasiya Kazi) in DJ's upcoming show on Imagine, Dharampatni.

Our source tells us, "The elderly lady will play a fun loving character in the show. She is the Dadi of Kastur".

We tried calling Gopi Desaiji, but could not get through to her.

As reported earlier, Dharampatni will launch in mid August and will take the slot of Looteri Dulhan.

    I see PH is leaving no stones unturn to make sure the show is a success. They have great actors and hot promo out. I hope they take the same interest when it comes to picking the writers. This show will need excellent scripts to survive on this channel.

    She was great in the first season of Choti Bahu and she is also doing great in the second season!!!!!! Hope she stays in Choti Bahu 2 also!!!! :)

    the cast is 2 good, excellent lead of Harshad&Asiya, Supriyaji, Aditi & the others, the Product House hv an excellent cast here hopefully the script can do dem justice.
