It's now time for some jig for Mini Mathur

Mini Mathur will soon say bye bye to her hosting show Indian Idol and get into her dancing shoes in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.

The popular television host Mini Mathur is gung ho about her inclusion in the new season of Sony's Jhalak Dhikhlaja. Not only is it something new that she will be attempting, but will also provide her the much needed respite from hosting shows.

Says Mathur, "This is the first time that I would be participating in any dance contest. Though I feel I have to work extra hard to put up a decent performance, at the same time I am confident that my choreographer who makes a comback after 15 years would help me get rid of all inhibitions in the coming time."

Currently busy with Sony's Indian Idol, Mathur makes sure that her practice sessions for her upcoming show are not affected. She adds, "Despite having hectic schedules, I make sure that all my moves for the competition are right, which actually means that I have to put in more efforts juggling between hosting and practice sessions. Since, Indian Idol is coming to a close, I am planning to put my heart and soul in Jhalak."

The lesser known fact about Mini Mathur is that she is the creative consultant for the three new shows for NDTV Lifestyle, which will be launched shortly. Throwing more light about it, she further adds, "Actually me and Kabir (Kabir Khan who has directed Kabul Express is Mini Mathurs husband) are producing three new shows for NDTV Lifestyle. One of the shows will be a chat show hosted by Rajat Kapoor, the other ones include a health show and a show on pets. Surprisingly in all these home productions, I won't be seen as the host," she giggles.
