'I will perform on Meena Kumari and Aishwarya numbers'-Sayantani Ghosh

NDTV Imagine is all set to take the viewers down memory lane to relive one of the most scintillating and enchanting moments of Hindi cinema this Friday, in the one and half hour special event ‘Kudiyon Ka Zamana’ that will air on May 30, 2008 at 8:30 pm.

Sayantani Ghosh, the very gorgeous Bengali beauty will be seen performing on songs of Meena Kumari and Aishwarya Rai. Talking about this wonderful experience, the actress states, “I am blessed to get an opportunity to perform in this special show. I will be dancing on two different numbers, one being a ‘mujra’ of Meena Kumari and on the Krazy Kiya Re number of Aishwarya”.

Sayantani who recently tried her hand at comedy in Sony’s Comedy Circus believes in doing something different every time. “I would love to take part in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa”, confides the actress. Sayantani will also be part of the Zee reality show Ek Se Badhkar Ek which will see a singer and an actor joining hands to form a team. “I will be dancing in Ek Se Badhkar Ek while my singer partner will croon. I cannot disclose much about the show as of now”, says Sayantani.

The NDTV Imagine show will also see the beautiful women from small screen Rajshree Thakur, Mouni Roy, Mona Singh, Sangeeta Ghosh, Natasha and Barkha Bisht performing on various hit numbers. This performance packed entertaining event will be hosted by ace comedian Raju Srivastava who will add to the magic of this extravaganza with his inimitable take on the changing face of Bollywood’s glamor girls and hilarious accounts of how heroines have changed and redefined themselves through the years.
