Colombo, Aug 5 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates and Sri Lanka Thursday discussed ways to boost cooperation in various fields, including commerce and tourism.
During the meeting between UAE Ambassador Mahmoud Mohamed Al Mahmoud and Sri Lankan Deputy Minister of Tourism Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and possibilities for boosting cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
Al Mahmoud highlighted UAE's keenness to develop ties with Sri Lanka, especially in the commercial and tourism fields.
