Jaggi replaces Tiwary in India Red squad

Mumbai, Sep 11 (IANS) Jharkhand batsman Ishank Jaggi will replace an injured Saurabh Tiwary in the India Red squad for the NKP Salve Challenger cricket trophy.

Mumbai, Sep 11 (IANS) Jharkhand batsman Ishank Jaggi will replace an injured Saurabh Tiwary in the India Red squad for the NKP Salve Challenger cricket trophy.

"Saurabh Tiwary has undergone a shoulder operation and has, therefore, been ruled out of the NKP Salve Challenger Trophy. The All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked Ishank Jaggi as his replacement in the India Red squad," said Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Sanjay Patel in a statement Wednesday.

All-rounder Irfan Pathan will be leading the India Red squad.
