Manjrekar lauds new Ranchi stadium

Ranchi, Jan 19 (IANS) Former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has lauded the newly constructed JSCA International Cricket Stadium here.

Ranchi, Jan 19 (IANS) Former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has lauded the newly constructed JSCA International Cricket Stadium here.

Manjrekar said Saturday that India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who hails from Ranchi, will remain the biggest inspiration for young cricketers here.

"Wonderful stadium here in Ranchi. Well done JSCA ! But the biggest inspiration for young Ranchi cricketers will still be.... Yes MSD !" tweeted Manjrekar.

"Think this is my first ever trip here. If my poor memory serves me right," he added.

The stadium has a capacity of 39,000 and this is the first ever international cricket match being hosted in Jharkhand's capital.
