New Delhi, April 6 (IANS) BJP's Delhi unit chief Vijay Goel said Saturday L.K. Advani will head a party government after the next election but later sought to clarify he meant it would be formed under the veteran leader's guidance.

"The next government at the centre will be formed under the leadership of L.K. Advani and nobody else," he said on the occasion of the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) foundation day.

"The party was strengthened by Atal Bihari Vajpayee and L.K. Advani. Vajpayee has been unwell but under Advani's guidance the BJP will come to power in 2014," Goel said in the presence of Advani and party president Rajnath Singh.

However, hours later, he said what he meant was that the the next government will be formed under Advani's guidance.
