New Delhi, March 19 (IANS) The motion of thanks to the president''s address was passed in the Lok Sabha Monday after the amendments moved by the opposition were negatived.
Opposition leaders, including Sushma Swaraj of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Basudeb Acharia of Communis Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and Bhartuhari Mahtab of Biju Janata Dal sought division on their amendments concerning setting up of National Terrorism Counter Centre, which were negatived.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh replied to the motion of thanks to the president''s address.
