Nine dead in Karachi violence

Islamabad, Dec 7 (IANS) At least six people were killed and many others injured in separate incidents of firing in Pakistan's port city of Karachi Friday, Xinhua reported.

Islamabad, Dec 7 (IANS) At least six people were killed and many others injured in separate incidents of firing in Pakistan's port city of Karachi Friday, Xinhua reported.

Three bodies were found in another area in gunny sacks.

The violence broke out early morning when two people were gunned down in the city's Haji Camp area, stirring tension. Later, two bodies with prominent torture marks were found in Nazimabad area.

Two men were killed and several others injured in other incidents of firing by unidentified motorcyclists in two other areas of the city.

Earlier in the day, three bodies were recoverd from Garden area in gunny sacks and bore fresh wounds.
