India wins two medals at South Asian Triathlon Championship

Pokhara (Nepal), April 1 (IANS) India won two medals including a gold at the South Asian Triathlon Championship here Monday.

Pooja Chaurishi claimed the gold in the sprint event which included swimming, cycling and running. In the men's section, Madhurjya Bora finished second for a silver.

In a release, secretary general of the Indian Triathlon Federation Rakesh Gupta praised the performance of the athletes saying this was a good exposure for them.
