Samajwadi Party leader shot dead

Ghaziabad, Feb 25 (IANS) A neighbour Monday barged into the house of a Samajwadi Party (SP) leader here and shot him dead over a row over a shop, police said.

Ghaziabad, Feb 25 (IANS) A neighbour Monday barged into the house of a Samajwadi Party (SP) leader here and shot him dead over a row over a shop, police said.

Two others, including Yashvir's security guard, were critically injured in the audacious attack at Bamheta in Kavi Nagar area.

"The assailants came in two cars and two motorcycles," Superintendent of Police Shiv Shankar Yadav said. The killer was identified as Mithhan Lal.

The SP leader and Mithhan Lal had reportedly developed enmity over setting up a shop in a temporary market.
