Sharjah, Ma Mar 1 (IANS/WAM) In a bid to strengthen cultural and information exchange between Japan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a two-day event called "Japan Cultural Days" is being organised in a college campus here.
The event, at Higher College of Technology, has drawn a large number of students who have appreciated the event enabling them to have a closer look at the different aspects of Japanese culture.
The event included a number of exhibits and interactive activities to popularise a number of Japanese culture elements such as origami or the art of paper folding, and Japanese hand fans "Uchiwa", Japanese toys and calligraphy "Shudo" and traditional women's wear, the kimono.
