Sharjah ruler's wife visits UNHCR in Geneva

Sharjah, Jan 20 (IANS/WAM) Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of Sharjah's ruler Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, visited the headquarters of the UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) in Geneva, Switzerland.

Sharjah, Jan 20 (IANS/WAM) Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of Sharjah's ruler Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, visited the headquarters of the UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) in Geneva, Switzerland.

During her meet Friday with UNHCR's High Commissioner Antonio Guterres, both sides discussed the role UNHCR plays around the world and in the Middle East in helping refugees in war-torn areas.
