British security group to visit UAE

Dubai, Jan 14 (IANS/WAM) Delegates from a British security organisation will visit Dubai to talk to prospective partners and customers about the best practices in law enforcement, counter-terrorism and border security.

Dubai, Jan 14 (IANS/WAM) Delegates from a British security organisation will visit Dubai to talk to prospective partners and customers about the best practices in law enforcement, counter-terrorism and border security.

The visit by the United Kingdom Trade and Investment Defence and Security Organisation (UKTIDSO) will take place Jan 15-17.

The UKTIDSO will be supporting 120 British companies at an exhibition "Intersec 2013" that would identify opportunities for joint ventures between the two countries.

Simon Everest, head of the UKTIDSO security directorate, said: "Intersec 2013 is an important exhibition to showcase Britain's world-leading security and safety equipment. British companies are very keen to further develop business relationships with partners in the UAE and across the Gulf."
