UAE, South Korea discuss ties

Al Ain (UAE), Nov 21 (IANS/WAM) UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and visiting South Korean President Lee Myung−bak have discussed bilateral relations.

Al Ain (UAE), Nov 21 (IANS/WAM) UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and visiting South Korean President Lee Myung−bak have discussed bilateral relations.

The UAE president expressed UAE's desire to expand its cooperation with South Korea, mainly in the areas of commerce and technology. The talks were held at Al Rawda Palace.

The South Korean president conferred on Sheikh Khalifa the Grand Order of Mugunghwa, South Korea's highest honour given to foreign dignitaries.
