Dubai seizes 215 pieces of ivory

Dubai, Nov 11 (IANS/WAM) The Dubai Customs has seized 215 pieces of ivory hidden in 40 boxes containing green beans.

Dubai, Nov 11 (IANS/WAM) The Dubai Customs has seized 215 pieces of ivory hidden in 40 boxes containing green beans.

The ivory, seized at Jebel Ali port, is worth 15 million dirhams ($408,396). The consignment was sent from an African country, according to the customs authorities.
