Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 19 (IANS) A Kerala-based institute will work with a UAE foundation to spread awareness about the life and teachings of Prophet Mohammed in India through programmes, a religious leader said Saturday.

Ma'din Academy in Malappuram and Tabah Foundation of the United Arab Emirates will work together to expand the 'Alive in our Hearts' programme to popularise the prophet's teachings.

Sayyid Ibraheemul Khaleelul Bukhari who heads the Ma'din Academy appreciated the commitment of Tabah Foundation to popularise the prophet's noble life with an aim to spearhead the moderate and forgiving doctrine of Islam.

"Ma'din Academy shares with Tabah Foundation such great objectives as there is an urgent need to shed more lights on biography of the prophet who has taught the humanity great lessons for the goodness and charity," al-Bukhari told reporters here.
