Thousands march for climate change and end to war at APEC
Sydney, Sep 8 (IANS) At least 19 people were arrested and two police officers injured Saturday in what was largely a peaceful protest demanding an end to the Iraq war and poverty as well as stringent and immediate action on climate change as the 21 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leaders' summit got underway at Sydney's iconic Opera House.
