Brisbane, Jan 3 (IANS) Sania Mirza and her American partner Bethanie Mattek-Sands reached the doubles final at the Brisbane International tennis tournament here Thursday after their semi-final opponents Daniela Hantuchova and Katarina Srebotnik pulled out out of the contest mid-way.
Sania-Bethanie were leading 5-1 in the first set when the Slovakian-Slovenian duo retired.
The Indo-American pair had defeated second seeds Liezel Huber and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez earlier in the competition.
