24 killed in explosion near Syrian-Turkish border

Ankara, Feb 21 (IANS) At least 24 people were killed and many injured Thursday in an explosion near Syrian - Turkish border in Turkey's Kilis province, a media report said.

Ankara, Feb 21 (IANS) At least 24 people were killed and many injured Thursday in an explosion near Syrian - Turkish border in Turkey's Kilis province, a media report said.

About 20 people were killed at the blast scene near Syria's Esselame border crossing near the southern Turkish province of Kilis, Xinhua quoted the report as saying, while adding that four wounded people died on the way to a nearby hospital.
