Baghdad, Dec 19 (IANS) Iraqi President Jalal Talabani's health condition is consistently improving after he was hospitalised following brain stroke two days ago, Xinhua reported Wednesday.
The 79-year-old has been confronting various health problems in recent years.
"Talabani is in a good condition and his health is improving continuously," the website of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), a major Kurdish party headed by Talabani, quoted the head of Talabani's medical team as saying.
The medical official also announced that a specialised German medical team arrived in Baghdad Wednesday and was supervising Talabani's condition.
