While packing his bags in the hotel room Purab remembers all the good times with Jassi. We get to see all the good times Purab had with Jassi i.e. at Alibagh, the elephant ride, Paratha and Pani Puri Fiesta, etc. Purab comes back to reality and says to himself that he wants to live with Jassi and cannot see her sad. He sits on a chair and decides that if Gulmohur gives Jassi any unhappiness then he will remove it.
Jassi is sitting in her room staring at the pages of her diary. She thinks to herself in surprise that she thought that she would write something about Purab but has ended up reviewing her past with Armaan. She remembers fondly about the surprise party that Armaan threw for her and the time when he gave her a rose. Jassi smiles faintly.
Meanwhile, Purab reflects on his image in the mirror. Suddenly his conscience appears in the mirror. His conscience asks him if he ever thought about what Jassi thinks about him before planning his future life with her. Purab responds that Jassi thinks he is smart and that she even made him a part of his family.
Jassi flips through pages of her diary. She questions herself why she was surprised when Purab showed concern about Rohan while she herself used to be concerned about Armaan. She then asks her self why she worries about Armaan so much. Here thoughts switch from the good times she had with Armaan and the good times she had with Purab.
Billo and AMRIT are washing the dishes. Bebe jokes that she has adopted Jassi and AMRIT's policy of staying up late at night. AMRIT is worried about Jassi looking lost nowadays. She wonders if it is because of Purab. Bebe asks AMRIT why she thinks so. AMRIT does not have a definite answer but she believes that Jassi could be concerned about Billo's rough behavior with Purab. Bebe smiles and says that Purab does not mind it or else he would not keep coming back. AMRIT speculates that Purab likes Jassi. Bebe is confident. They start their planning about Jassi's marriage with Purab. AMRIT believes that this time, she will not interfere and will let Purab and Jassi decide. She nevertheless is upset that Jassi does not wish to get married.
Jassi is lying down on her bed. She thinks about Armaan praising her in front of the gang and then looking directly in her eyes and saying that success at Gulmohor is not possible without Jassi. Here thoughts switch to Purab where he is telling her that she is living for the whole world but now needs to live for herself.
Next day, Pari is not allowed to enter Gulmohur. She is livid and wants to speak with Mallika. The watchman informs her that she is not allowed to even speak with anyone. Pari frowns. She is shocked to know that these are Armaan's orders.
In Armaan's cabin, Raj and Armaan discuss about how people are against them at this point of time. Raj contemplates that they cannot even show the board about what Aryan has done as they have no proof except Pari's speech, but she is not dependable. Armaan smiles and informs Raj about his ban Pari policy. Raj is amused. He agree with Armaan and tells him that now Pari has no Aryan and no job, he should go to Pari and try getting her to sign the papers. He plans to take some files with him as the board meeting will come up and they do not have Jassi to handle the report. Armaan as usual instructs Raj to show him the figures (which seem to be false once again). Raj asks Armaan what he wants to do now. Armaan tells to just wait, watch and enjoy! He smiles wickedly.
Jassi says bye to AMRIT who tells her to have her breakfast before leaving. Billo comes and asks AMRIT where Jassi is going. He goes on to say that Purab spoiled Jassi and once he left, Jassi is back to work and not doing time pass. AMRIT tells Billo not to give Purab any other name, as she likes the name Purab a lot. Nevertheless, Billo calls Purab ullu ki dum (Owl's ass!). He enters the hall and catches Jassi having her breakfast in a hurry. He asks her where she is going. Jassi uncomfortably says IFH. He is watching some news when suddenly the fashion show that Jassi hosted comes on. Jassi is shocked. She asks why they are showing that now. Billo has no idea. Jassi says that she is in a hurry as she is getting late for office. Billo sarcastically says that Jassi would not care about Gulmohur as now she works for IFH. He says IFH sarcastically. Jassi looks hurt. The clipping of the show follows up with an interview with Armaan. Armaan is sitting on his chair in the boardroom and answering questions. He highlights that Gulmohur did great business during the last fashion show. He purposely mentions that the shareholders are now very happy. Purab happens to see this on television. He says knowingly that this oh so this is Jassi's Armaan sir. He remembers seeing him somewhere. He gets a flashback to Armaan and him meeting after the car crash. He also remembers that Armaan did not give him his card. He has a questioning look on his face. He believes that it is good that he happened to know about Armaan and the interview now
Aryan calls up Purab and informs him that he has got all the shares and asks Purab if Purab wants him to come right away. Purab agrees and says that he wants to close the deal as soon as possible. At Mallika's home, Pari complains to Mallika that the owners want to take her house and now she has no home as well as no job. Mallika looks indifferent. She offers Pari that she could stay with her, as she (Mallika) will not be going to office till Aryan returns. Pari swears that she is not involved. Mallika wants to keep away from the whole issue. Pari realizes that Mallika cannot be fooled anymore. She looks crestfallen, and comments that in her destiny one man and staying in one place is not written. She hands over the unfinished wine glass to Mallika and leaves.
Hansmukhi is excited to see Jassi. Hansmukhi tells her that she saw Jassi on television. Jassi confesses that she was surprised to see them showing that clip now. Hansmukhi responds that it was Armaan's interview, where they showed clipping of the fashion show. Jassi looks surprised. Hansmukhi tells Jassi to call Gulmohor, she adds that one does not stop keeping in touch after leaving the company. Jassi says she is not that keen to know about the interview and the clipping, she refuses to call. Hansmukhi asks Jassi from when she plans to work in IFH. Jassi tells her she starts immediately. Hansmukhi notices Jassi's gloomy face and tells her that Jassi is not there but somewhere else with someone else.
Later in the day, while Jassi is returning home from work, Purab drives in from back. Jassi notices him and jokingly asks him from when has he been following her. Purab smiles and says from Alibagh. Jassi jokes about him coming back home and that the hotel's bed made his back stiff. She jokes about what papaji will say. Purab drives in front of her and blocks her way and says that first he will tell her and then worry about papaji later. Jassi is confused. Purab gets down from the car and greets Jassi with a hello and asks her how she is. Jassi replies courteously. Purab comments about the weather. Jassi is amused and asks him to tell her what he wants. Purab jokes that he was mike testing. Jassi laughs. Purab tells Jassi that he wants her to keep smiling like this. He hands her two gifts, which are a watch and compass. Jassi is surprised. Purab explains that he got the compass, as he wants her to direct his life. Jassi does not seem to understand. She just smiles awkwardly. Purab says that he wants her to never ever be 'friends with sadness'. Jassi tells him that she has Purab as a friend then why would she want to make friends with sadness. Purab smiles. He then asks her if she will be his partner along the road of life. Jassi's smile freezes! She starts walking looking tensed...
