PART 5
It was a fresh morning and all our seven characters were out of bed. All of
them highly excited. This was gonna be a big and special day in their life.
They were all gonna begin their career as interns of the most prestigious
hospital in town - Sanjivani. They simply could not have asked for more.
Kripa was the first one to reach SANJIVANI. "Wow! Kitna sundar hai. Koi
kehi nahi sakta ki yeh hospital hai" She was busy looking dreamily at the
hospital, which was gonna be her workplace for one long year. She was
walking towards it without bothering to look at the road. Suddenly our
cool dude Angad moved past her and parked his car. His speed scared
the hell out of her. He was out of his Porsche. He saw her there and
stopped.
An: Hey gorgeous!
Kripa: Tum!! tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?
Angad was a little taken aback by this, and pulled up his collar. "Main
yahan kaam karta hoon Madam!"
"Koi wardboy ho kya?" She snapped.
"What??" he was furious.
"Aajkal India ka standard bhi kaafi high ho gaya hai. Wardboys bhi
Porsche mein ghoomte hain." She joked and started laughing.
Angad felt really humiliated by this statement. He silently thanked God
that nobody else was witness to this statement. Or what would happen to
his image. Imagine guys. "Excuse me!!main koi wardboy nahi hoon. Main
naya intern hoon, Dr.Angad!
"Doctor aur tum? Ladkiyon ke saath flirt karnewala bhi doctor ho sakta
hai, ye main nahin jaanti thi" Kripa answered back.
An: To ab jaan lo
Kripa: Uhhhh! Stupid!!
An: Thankyou so much. Waise tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?
Kripa: Agar tum dr. ban sakte ho, to main bhi. Main bhi nayi intern
Dr.Kripa
An: Waah Senorita!! Aakhir naam bata hi diya
Kripa: Kyun tum nahi jaante the kya?
An: Haan, par tumse pehli baar suna hai na.
Kripa: Tum apni bakwaas apne paas rakho. Main jaa rahi hoon
An: Wait!! main bhi aaya. Lagta hai hum dono ki khoob jamegi
They went on with this cute little argument till a rickshaw stopped right in
front of them.
Driver: Babyji, aapko raat ke 9 baje lene aau kya?
"Main bol doongi, baad mein, aap jaaiye" Sapna walked out of the rick.
Sapna saw Angad & Kripa.
"Agar main galat nahi, tum log bhi naye interns ho kya?" She enquired
with Angad and Kripa
Kripa: Haan, Hi! I'm Dr.Kripa
Sapna: Si!! I'm Dr.Sapna
An: Hey Sapna! Pleased to meet you. I'm Dr.Angad. Waise tum kaafi acchi
lag rahi ho
Sapna thanked Angad for the compliment, which left Kripa fuming. " What
a big flirt" she thought.
The three of them walked into the hospital. They were asked to proceed
to their locker rooms. There they found a guy lost in his own world.
"Hi! tum bhi intern ho?" Sapna asked him.
An: Hey man!
It was our adorable Atul.
"Hello! main bhi naya intern hoon. Thoda nervous hoon. Main Dr.Atul
hoon." Atul finished in one breath.
"Hi! main Dr.Sapna"
"I'm Dr.Kripa"
"And this dude is called Dr.Angad"
They introduced themselves to each other. Angad's statements always left
Kripa boiling with anger.
The four of them had reached well ahead of time. They chatted and
chatted and had already become good friends, except Angad & Kripa who
were constantly giving stern looks to each other.
After about half an hour, our cool dude Armaan entered. He was a lil'
nervous. He saw Angad.
Ammy: Hey Angad! Kaisa hai?
An: Fine man! Tu apni bata
Ammy: Sab kuch to kal raat bata hi chuka hoon
Angad and Armaan chatted like this for quite a long time.
Kripa was astonished at this. "Tum Angad ko jaante ho?"
"And you must be" he asked her and winked at Angad.
"Hi! i'm Dr.Kripa"
"Hi! I'm Dr.Sapna"
"Hi gals! I'm Dr.Armaan, new intern." He was used to being the centre of
attraction. Angad was trying to control a giggle.
"Arre main bhi hoon. Atul...Dr.Atul" Atul added.
"Hi atul. Naa! Doesn't sound good. Wait! How about Champ?? Main tujhe
Champ bula sakta hoon?" Armaan had already nicknamed Atul in his first
meet.
"Accha naam hai..OK" Atul was glad to have found a cool nickname.
"Waise armaan, tum is Angad se door raho. Bahut pakata hai" Kripa
warned Armaan with concern.
"Accha?? mujhe to nahi pakaya, bachpan se nahi" Armaan cleared his
point there. Angad could not control his laughter any longer.
Kripa was stunned. "Kya? Tum ise bachpan se jaante ho?"
"Haan, hum chaddi dost hain" 😆😆😆Armaan said winking at his
best buddy.
Everyone started laughing. Angad winked at Kripa. And as always, she
gave him a furious look.
"Waise maine suna tha ki 7 interns hain. Par yahan to sirf 5 hain" Armaan
was curious.
"Maine suna tha ki 2 aur ladkiyan hain" Sapna replied.
"Wooooowwww!" Both Armaan and Angad could not resist saying this.
"Behave yourselves guys! This is a hospital. And you are supposed to
be..uhem...doctors" Kripa said sarcastically.
Angad and Armaan were left speechless.

Rids & Anjali reached Sanjivani. They headed straight towards
Dr.Shashank Gupta's cabin.
"May we come in sir?" they asked before they could enter.
"Please, come in" Dr.Shashank called them in.
"Good morning Sir!" they greeted him.
"Iss waqt, no sir!" he said sternly.
Anjali and Riddhima were taken aback slightly.
"Only Dad!!" He completed.
Their worried look had changed into a smile.
"Waise meri dono betiyaan aaj interns ban gaye hain, toh mein tum dono
ko all the best wish karna chahunga. All the best!!" He said like any father
would tell his children on their first day in the big
bad world.
"Thankyou Dad!" and they both hugged their father tightly.
"OK ab jao, nahi to Dr.Keerti tumhe nahi chodegi." He told them after the
cute little father-daughters session.
"Yeh Dr.Keerti kaun hai?" Anjali enquired with popping eyes.
"Aap ki head. Bahut strict hai" he tried to scare them.
Anjali and Riddhima left immediately. How could they be late on their first
day?
Meanwhile, the remaining 5 interns were still gossiping. Angad was trying
his best to impress Kripa, but she was sick of him. Suddenly, the door of
the locker room opened. There was pin drop silence.
