I love the rain too... but not the UK type... in UK, rains are too dull... but in places like Pakistan/ India etc... it's so fun... caz you can go out and play in the rain Big smile

ah monsoon is back. i wish i am a kid to float those paper boats.

Monsoons were the most Romantic season in India when I was growing up there. I dont know what the situation is now with traffic, waterlogging and potholes but in those days we enjoyed it inspite of all the problems, we even hoped school would be closed becuz of waterlogged roads. LOL

Sailing paper boats in the dirty street water (cant think of allowing my kids to do that now LOL ), eating bhutta on roadside vendors, hot tea and pakoras while the downpour continued, khichdi for lunch or dinner. Ahhh those were the days! Big smile

And later, Monsoons brought Romance.... Embarrassed The saundhi khushboo of the earth as raindrops cooled its parched bosom.....the cool, earth-scented air, getting wet in the rain.....
