Scene 1: Leelai saree store
Aravinthan enters.
Aravinthan: Yaaruda unga muthalali?
Leelai: Naan thaan muthalali, ena venum?
Aravinthan: Aiyaa vera sonaaru.
Leelai: Vara mudiyathunu solu..
Immediately Aravinthan points his gun at Leelai. The store is deserted.
Scene 2: Vennila's house
Vennila: Appa, naan poitu varan.
Thenkasi: Paarthu kavanama pomma.
Rajeswary: Avala paarthu pora solaratha vittitu, avala vera yaar koodavavathu vambukku poha venaan-nu solunga.
Thenkasi: Yaendi panurathellam nee, ana ena ava kitta eduthu sola solaria?
Venila: Amma, naan varan.
Vennila leaves the house.
Thenkasi: Parthiyadi.. Padicha thimiru.. Ponnu konjam padicha pothum-nu sonen kettiyadi.. Paithiyakkari. Poi kaafee-ya podudee.
Rajeswary: Sareenga.
Rajeswary leaves. Thenkasi is displeased by Vennila's attitude.
Scene 3: Chennai, Leelai saare store.
George: Hello? do you know where this street is? (George hands out a small piece of paper containing an address written in tamil)
Leelai's son (Anbu): Arthorath theru.. Ippadi neraa poi peethankai pakkam thrumbina oru murugan kovil varum.. Appuram..

Anbu: poi, vennila-va kootitu vaa.
Mano leaves.

Leelai's son, Anbu, said that a few times to ensure that George understood what he was saying. George waited and Anbu prayed to his dad photo.

George leaves.
