PART 6
There the teachers n tour management had informed their families.n all were really worried.a search team had also been sent in the forest to look for them.n in all this tension,some student heard karan telling his friends about map exchange.n he went to teachers n management n told them all about it.this was not any little thing,there was also danger of losing their lives in the forest.the teachers,management n even other students,all scolded karan for this irresponsible n dangerous prank n he was expelled from the college.
There dev n shruti were still going through their journey in the truck.dev took a deep breath n rested his head back with the truck side.
dev- ab mein kuch thakk gaya hoon shruti.
shruti looked at him.he was now looking little exhausted.
shruti- mein bhi....waisey kitni ajeeb baat hai naa ke chaltey chaltey itni thakkan mehsoos nahi hoti jitni araam se beth jaaney ke baad.
dev did not say anything now.he was looking into the moon still resting his head back.
shruti- kya baat hai.ab tum ne koi mazaak nahi kiya.lagta hai sach much thakk gayey ho.
dev- kabhi kabhi mein bhi serious ho jata hoon.
shruti- really???
dev smiled n winked in answer.n then said,
dev- never...mujhe serious hona nahi aata.
shruti- yeah right.
then some moments passed in silence.suddenly some thought cliked in shruti s mind so she called him.
shruti- dev.
dev- hmm..??
dev moved his eyes from the moon n looked at her.and a thought urged in his mind that she looks even more beautiful than the moon.he smiled on his own thought.
shruti- kya hua??aisey hi kyun smile kar rahey ho?
dev- nothing...tum bolo naa kya keh rahi thi tum?
shruti- okk....u know tum merey bohat achey dost ho.tum hamesha merey saath raho ge naa,jab kabhi bhi mujhe tumhari zaroorat ho gi....hum hamesha dost rahen ge naa.
dev- aisa kyun pooch rahi ho?
shruti- aisey hi...tum batao naa tum mujh se milney aaya karo ge naa college ke baad bhi.
dev- nahi.
shruti- what...??lekin kyun?
dev- aisey hi....meri marzi.
shruti- i cant beleive u...kya kabhi tumhara dil nahi chahey ga mujh se milne ko?
dev- kya karoon ga tum se mil ke...we should move on in life.jo guzar gaya ussey bhool jana chahiyey.
this time shruti smiled n said,
shruti- okk...i got it.phir se ek stupid mazaak kar rahey ho naa.
dev- no...mazaak nahi kar raha hoon.mein tum se phir kabhi nahi miloon ga shruti.
he said looking into her eyes in such serious style that shruti just remained looking at him for a while.
shruti- dev...stop it now.
now she said irritatingly to stop his stupid humour.
dev- arey kaha naa mazaak nahi kar raha hoon.
shruti- toh kya sach mein kabhi tumhara dil nahi chahey ga mujh se milney ko?
she was asking like a small kid now.dev smiled at her innocence n then said,
dev- dil toh bohat kuch chahta hai shruti lekin iss pagal dil ki harr baat toh nahi maan saktey naa.
shruti- arey.......lekin kyun?mein toh hamesha apney dil ki baat hi maanti hoon.jo bhi mera dil kehta hai wohi karti hoon.
dev- u r lucky shruti ke tumhara dil tumhara saath deta hai.merey toh apney dil ne hi mujhe dhoka de diya.
shruti- ab iss ka kya matlab hai.aisa kya kar diya tumharey dil ne?
dev- woh sab choro.dil toh ghaltiyan karta hi rehta hai,ab kya kya ginwaon.
shruti- okk...lekin tum phir kabhi sochna bhi mat ke tum college ke baad mujh se nahi milo ge...mein tumhein mujhe akela chor kar jaaney hi nahi doon gi.
dev- acha.
shruti- haan.
dev- okk jokes apart...agar hum log kabhi alag ho bhi jayen ge toh bhi mein tumhein kabhi nahi bhoolon ga....u know shruti zindagi mein do tarah ke log hamein kabhi nahi bhooltey...ek woh jinhen hum hamesha ke liyey bhool jana chahtey hein aur ek woh jinhen hum hamesha yaad rakhna chahtey hein aur mein tumhein hamesha yaad rakhna chahta hoon apni zindagi mein aayey ek thandi hawa ke jhonkey ki tarah...apney dil mein bassey ek khoobsurat ehsas ki tarah....
he was saying looking into her eyes.shruti tried to say something but she could not say anything.she just remained looking at him.after the silence of few seconds,dev spoke,
dev- tum bhi mujhe hamesha yaad rakho gi naa.
shruti- nahi...kyunke hum kabhi alag nahi hon ge.aur tum itni stupid batein kyun kar rahey ho.college khatam honey ke baad hum ne alag alag duniya mein toh nahi chaley jana,yahin rehna hai naa.hum tab bhi mila karen ge,phone per baat kiya karen ge jaisey ab kartey hein.
dev- arey kal ka abhi se kya pata ke kal kya ho ga aur kya nahi.
shruti- okk...ab yeh fazool batein karna bandd kartey hein.
dev- start toh tum ne hi kiya tha naa.tum hi pooch rahi thi ke hum hamesha saath rahen ge naa.
shruti- toh tum yeh nahi keh saktey thay ke haan hum hamesha saath rahen ge.tum ne hi saari fazool behas start ki.
dev- acha.ab saara ilzaam merey sarr pe.....waisey ek baat batao,tum mujhe hamesha apney saath rakhna kyun chahti ho,mein akhir hoon hi kon....sirf ek dost.
shruti- tum koi ordinary dost thori ho stupid...u r my best friend.
just then dev took out his cell phone n exclaimed,
dev- hey...iss mein network aa gaya.
their was no network of cell phone in the forest area.dev hurriedly called to their teachers to inform them that they are fine n going towards city now.then he also called his home,talked to his mom.shruti also called her home n informed them that she is fine n coming home.
more than half night had spent now.and when they were sitting silent for a while,shruti ended up sleeping with her head on dev s shoulder.and dev looked at her all the time n smiled.n as the morning lights were spreading everywhere around them,they reached their destination now.the truck stopped.shruti was still sleeping.her hair fell on her face from one side.dev softly removed the hair back from her face.for a while he remained looking at her smiling.n then he whispered,
dev- hey...shruti.wake up.
shruti slowly opened her eyes n removed her head back from dev s shoulder.
shruti- sorry...mujhe pata hi nahi chala kab ankh lag gayi.u did nt sleep??
dev- so jata toh tumhein itney kareeb se kab dekhta.
dev whispered to himself.shruti could not hear.
shruti- what..??
dev- mujhe neend nahi aa rahi thi toh nahi soya aur waisey bhi aaj ghar ja kar mein saara din soney hi wala hoon.
they both got out of the truck now.dev once again thanked papa ji.then they hired a cab from there to go home.in the cab,shruti said,
shruti- yeh tour mujhe hamesha yaad rahey ga.
dev- mujhe bhi.
dev said smiling.
shruti- why are u smiling.itna bhi acha experience nahi tha iss tour ka.
dev- well.....merey liyey toh bohat acha tha.
shruti- woh kaisey?
dev- choro yaar.tumhein toh meri koi bhi baat samajh mein nahi aati.....ya phir tum samajhna hi nahi chahti.
dev said looking at her.
shruti- tum batein hi aisi silly kartey ho...for example tumhari yeh last stupid baat.
dev- haan haan mein toh silly batein hi karta hoon.interesting batein toh tumhara akaash karta hai naa.
at this,shruti suddenly rememberred that she nearly forgot akaash during the last day.
dev- chalo acha hai.shaid pichley do dino mein ussey tumhari qadar ho hi gayi ho.u know kisi apney ko khoney ke darr se bara aur koi darr nahi hota.
shruti just smiled looking at him.and just then the cab stopped.they had reached saigal mansion.
dev- chalo tumhara ghar aa gaya....bye.
shruti- abhi no bye.tum bhi ander chalo...chahey thori derr ke liyey hi lekin aaj toh tumhein aana parey ga.
dev- nahi shruti.mamma ll be waiting for me.
shruti- mujhe kuch nahi sunana.chalo chalo neechey utro.
shruti took the bag from him n told him to step out from the cab.
dev- okk baba.
dev agreed at last.they both came out of the cab.dev paid the cab driver.n then they both moved to inside the house.going through the gate,crossing the porch n lawn area,they entered through the entrance door.there they all were sitting in the lounge having tea after the breakfast.ritu aunty first saw them n came towards them.
ritu- thank God u r here.hum log toh preshan hi ho gayey thay.tum theek ho naa?
she asked shruti.
shruti- yes aunty m fine....he is my friend...dev.
ritu- hello beta....aao na tum log...ander aao.
they came forward.rohit uncle n akaash also got up n shook hands with dev.
rohit- hey young man.
rohit exlaimed shaking hands with him while akaash did not say anything,he silently shook hand with him n sat back.
ritu- mein tum logon ke liyey breakfast bana leti hoon.
dev- nahi aunty....actually mujhe apne ghar jana hai.
shruti- haan toh chaley jana.hum tumhein yahin rehne ko nahi keh rahey.breakfast kar ke chaley jana.
shruti spoke up so ritu aunty also said,
ritu- haan beta.ab breakfast kar ke jana.
then ritu aunty went to kitchen.rohit uncle also got up,
rohit- okk kids...tum log araam se betho.relax n have breakfast.mujhe toh ab office jana hai.okk bye.
he also went outside.dev n shruti were sitting together.akaash was sitting on some distance from them.dev whispered to shruti,
dev- yeh kuch bolta nahi hai kya?
shruti- bolta hai...kabhi kabhi.
dev- haan.uss ko dekh kar lag raha hai ke kabhi kabhi bol kar doosrey logon per ehsaan kar deta hai.
dev joked.
shruti- shut up dev.
dev- waisey itni subah subah sab log jaag gayey.uncle aur aunty ko toh jaagna parta hai naa lekin akaash bhi itni subah uth gaya.
shruti- haan.woh hamesha subah jaldi uth jata hai.
dev- aur ek mein hoon.college jana hota hai phir bhi itni mushkil se ankh khulti hai.mujhe toh subah jaldi uthna bohat irritating lagta hai.
akaash looked at them whispering to each other n getting up from there,he went to kitchen.
akaash- mom...yeh shruti ke saath kon hai?
ritu- keh rahi thi ke uss ka friend hai.yeh bhi uss ke saath hi tha,jungle mein raasta bhool gayey thay dono.
akaash- yeah.he looks like an idiot.
ritu- oho akaash.ab iss mein uss ki kya ghalti hai.
akaash- i know mom.it was just a compliment.
ritu- haan bhai.tumhein toh koi pasand aata hi nahi angry young man.
akaash- whatever...now m going to my room...got to rehears.shaam ko recording hai naa.
ritu- haan baba jao...bas tum aur tumhara guitar.
akaash- come on mom.u know music is my best company.
ritu- akaash...my son mein ne tumhein kitni baar samjhaya hai ke tum doosron ke pyaar ko samjhney ki koshish kiya karo ke sab log tum se kitna pyaar kartey hein.jis din tum yeh samajh jao ge naa toh kisi aur ki company bhi tumhein kabhi buri nahi lagey gi.
akaash- oh mom please....koi kisi se pyaar vyaar nahi karta.its all bussiness.
ritu- acha.toh kya tum bhi apni mom se pyaar nahi kartey?
akaash- well karta hoon but i guess its also kind of give n take.aap ne mujhe bachpan se samhala,meri upbringing ki n now i ve to return it all in one or another form.
ritu- God akaash.kaisi fazool batein sochtey rehtey ho tum.
akaash- okk now leave this.abhi aap breakfast banaaney pe concentrate karen aur mein apni recording pe.we ll continue this lecture afterwards.
he said n went out.
ritu- kya ho ga iss larkey ka.
she shook her head n then diverted her attention in making breakfast again.
