Wow, thanks a lot!! I have heard of some of the tips but it sure will help reading and enhancing my knowledge.

I have a tip for bad breath. We run to the stores to buy mint and chewing gum. But if you have mint in your yard, try chewing a leaf! It really leaves such an awesome refreshing taste. Big smile

Grandma's tips for great skin

Mix equal proportions of glycerin, rose-water and lemon juice and store it in a bottle. Massaging with this this mixture cleanses the skin and may heal the cuts, if any in the skin. Mix radish juice with curd and apply on the skin to give a shining skin. Mix juice of 1 lemon in 1 bucket of warm or cold water and bathe with it to give a soft supple skin. Apply the juice of bitter gourd to get rid of any old skin disease. To make you skin glow, make a pack with banana pulp, honey, sandalwood, fuller's earth and apply on your face. Wait for half an hour and rinse off with cold water. If you have normal skin, massage your face with few drops of sweet almond oil and distilled water, during bedtime and then go to sleep. This will not only give you soft skin, but will also protect it.
  • To get rid of pimples, make a face pack with the following ingredients: 2 tbsp of sandalwood powder, 2 drops of garlic juice, 1 egg white and 2 tbsp of rose water. Apply the paste and keep it till it dries completely. Wash with lukewarm water and pat dry.
