Hi friends,
Bollywood's new star wars
The coming two months will decide the fate of many in Bollywood. That's primarily because many new names will make their foray into the world of films. And with the influx of so many names simultaneously there's also bound to be lot of competition amongst them. So the months of June and July will have all the debutantes battling it out amongst themselves at the box-office.
The first one on the list is Sikandar Kher who should positively make his debut after the prolonged delay his film has taken to come out. Surrounded by controversies of being ghost-directed by producer Sanjay Gupta, Woodstock Villa will finally release on May 30. Interestingly Sikandar Kher will compete with himself when his second film Summer 2007 will release on June 13. A point to be noted is that the makers of both these films have been in a way indirectly competing with each other trying to claim themselves as Sikandar Kher's debut vehicle.

Television star Sujal aka Rajeev Khandelwal will debut with UTV Spotboy's offbeat film Aamir that is being promoted by the banner to every possible extent.
And the most interesting point about this film is that not only its lead actor is making his debut but simultaneously the director, cinematographer, music director, production outfit and every possible person from the crew are a first-timer.

Kumar Mangat who has made quite a name for himself as a producer in the past couple of years will have his daughter Amita Mangat making her debut in Haal-e-Dil alongside two debutante costars – Adhyayan Suman (actor Shekhar Suman's son) and Nakuul Mehta.
July will see Ram Gopal Varma's Contract with an all-new starcast.
Ramu promises that Contract will be on the lines of Satya that had no stars but boasted of some real great performances through its completely new starcast.
RGV also goes ahead to claim that Contract will give Bollywood it's next Bhiku Mhatre.

But the bigger fight amongst the debutantes will arrive in the form of two films colliding at the box-office on July 6.
Harry Baweja has put everything on stake to give his son Harman Baweja the best possible launch with Love Story 2050 budgeted at a whopping Rs 60 crores.

On the other hand Aamir Khan too is leaving no stone unturned as he is gearing to launch his nephew Imran Khan with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. Harman is blessed with good looks and a great physique and has been already making a lot of buzz ever since his film went on floors. Imran Khan was more protected by uncle Aamir but the curiosity factor worked in his favour. Recently there were rumours that Aamir asked Harry Baweja to postpone his film to a future date so that their films don't collide and eat on each other's business.
Meanwhile its not just actors but even directors who are making debut in the upcoming months. As many as a dozen directors have their first films lined up for release in June and July. The names include Ashim Samanta (Don Muthuswami), Rajkumar Gupta (Aamir), Mashhoor Amrohi (Hum Se Hai Jahaan), Suhail Tatari (Summer 2007), Jaideep Varma (Hulla), Abbas Tyrewala (Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na), Farouque Kabir (Allah Ke Bandey), Lucky Kohli and Rakesh Bajaj (Hari Puttar), Rumi Jaffrey (God Tussi Great Ho), Neeraj Pathak (Right Ya Wrong), C Kkompany (Sachin Yardi) and Arjun Bali (Ru Ba Ru).
Looking forward for this fresh lot from Bollywood!
