Here Is The Update For 19th May, 2 0 0 8, L R L Episode.
Episode begins with the usual Recaps :-
The episode begins with the scene already shown in the last episode.
The shot misses the target and shatters the Jeeps Windshield.
As the jeep stops second and third shots are fired and one grazers Gunny's arm, another hits the wheel. And the captive too gets hit.
On these shots Gunny reacts fast and restarts the Jeep to drive away fast.
The Major General Gaur starts walking towards the Boy's Dormitory and only his shoes are shown, and the sounds of his steps are heard.
Purvi tries to remove her hand from Rummy's grip, but Rummy holds her hand is still deliriously saying something.
Major General enters through the Door of the Dormitory.
Scene shifts to the Jeep, and Gunny tells Vidya to check back on the captive to check if he is alive, she does so to find him alive but unconscious.
Scene is back with Major General, who is about to knock, the door swings open. He enters to find Rummy sleeping.
Under the bed is Purvi. Major General comes over and drops his handkerchief – the old trusted method to create tension – he bends and picks it up.
Sits down beside Rummy and reminisces of his by gone days. That mother of Rummy always cared for her son, and never allowed Major General to be rough with Rummy and always supported her son. Strangely Major General Gaur was full of love towards his Rummy and wanted him to be a soldier and responsible and good one too.
Underneath the bed Purvi was stifling a sneeze.
On to the Jeep Scene , windshield is cracked in a small area and Gunny's left arm is grazed by a bullet. Vidya tries to find a first aid box but does not find, Gunny tells her to forget and says a soldier's life is risky and but always feels strong or some words to that effect.
Major General is still in his reminiscent mood. He wants Rummy to be a responsible officer and the one that Major General to be a proud father. There is more of similar talk.
At the end of it all he says he wants strong as his two arms, that to mean two sons to be his proverbial strong arms.
Purvi is surprised.
On the jeep ride Vidya bandages up Gunny's wounded Arm.
In between Purvi had to sneeze and Major General though hears the sneeze but does not give much thought to it as Rummy moves and makes some other sound.
Finally Major General Leaves, on the way out pauses, Purvi is about to come out scrambles back. The Major General kisses Rummy, covers him up and then the Major General goes out.
Just before getting up from the bed, the Major General touches Rummy on the forehead and kisses his fingers which he had touched Rummy's forehead.
As Purvi comes out a glass tumbler wobbles but Purvi is quick enough to catch it.
Purvi is evaluating Major General's words with regards to two strong arms. She cannot fathom what he meant.
Vidya gets a flask of water and gets out some from it and throws on the face of the captive who wakes up. Vidya tells him that he is alive but the captive tells not for long, for the " Eagle" would get him.
In between Vidya reminds Gunny of the remark he made with regards to the tough life of a soldier who risked much, word to that effect and mentions in a casual way that Vamsh too used to say those words. This leads to a silence between them.
Vidya shuts him of with before all that they would get "Eagle" as they too had him /"Eagle" under watch.
Peter And Markhand. The scene is that Peter is on the telephone with a Girl, Apparently, Tina's sister. She informs Peter that Tina is getting engaged on the morrow and he could not talk to Tina, Peter's pleadings – to be allowed to talk to Tina - falls on deaf ears and the line is cut off. Peter is devastated. Back to present and Markhand tries his best to comfort Peter.
The scene is indeed Poignant.
Peter is devastated he wants nothing more in life, for him it is the end of the road. How ever much Markhand tries to comfort Peter, everything is lost on Peter.
Also that Peter and Markhand had to get back in time.
Finally Markhand, in desperation, says he is willing to listen to Peter what ever he says. But Peter does not budge.
Jeep comes to a halt at the training center and Vidya gets out and hands out the Original Papers that were in the file to a surprised Gunny. He checks it.
Gunny says that why, in the course of interrogation, had she not brought out the truth. She replies that they were under the scanner of the " Eagle" and it was necessary that the message was sent across that the " Correct" File was given. And that the truth of Vamsh death was important too to her and the Army.
Gunny then says that he ought to have trusted her, Vidya replies that he should have.
The captive is put in a cell and so is Ratan put in a cell by Abhimanyu.
Later the Major inquires of Gunny's well being and says the report to Major General would have to wait as he had to go out of the training center. Would be back on the morrow.
On the sunrise time and bit later the Major General is received by Gunny and Gunny informs the Major General of the capture and the safety of the file.
The Surprised Major General has the flash back where he had fires Gunny, his irresponsibility and Gunny's promise to get clues of the "Eagle" and the recovery of his file.
Back To Present. The Major General and Gunny go into the Cell.
