Long Discussions?Welcomed or not?

Firstly i would like to state the liklihood of this ever happening is pretty remote, infact it's almost certainly not going to happen.


What i have noticed from this forum is that long discussions topics are not common, I thought that everyone would have made one as they have prior knowledge of the potential of them....Not the case though.


The downside is that some people don't really like having to search around 15-20 pages long posts to find their conversations,(which is the case in "Chat clubs") but being forced into "Chat clubs" and stuff seems rather hypocritical, what is the whole point of this forum then? The reason why i am posting such a topic is because I am not an active poster on this forum & I don't plan on being one😃. however i did want to express my opinion on this and my last question would be.

Why is every long topic considered a "Chat - Galore" and eventually locked.?

not every long topic is considered chat galore! 😆 You just have to keep in mind your conversation has something to do with KIT.

Not every topic is considered a chatting zone. If members chat in about a page or two its fine but if there is a topic that has been opened recently and in a day or two the topic has reached over 30 pages than it is considered chatting.

Maybe Sometimes you have long discussions so we don't just go to the topic and close it we look a few pages back and if it has chatting that has NOTHING to do with the show we have to close those topics. They are not just forum rules that we made up particularly for this section, they are overall IF (India-Forums) rules that we all have to follow.
