Manya felt all eyes glued to her as she walked into Jai Shree the next day. Why was everyone staring at her like that?
   She quickly adjusted her hair and makeup to make sure she was looking fine. Everything seemed good on her. Then?
   Manya caught a glimpse of Goppu and rushed over, her heels clicking on the ground.
M: Goppu!
   Goppu turned.
M: Mujhe sab aise kyun dekh rahe hain?
   Goppu rolled his eyes.
G: Apne boyfriend se poocho na!
   Manya's breath caught in her throat.
M: Ky-kya?
G: Yes, Manya. We're not idiots. Tumhare aur Akash ke beech mein jo kuch chal raha hai, we're very much aware of it. How could you?
   Manya's fear turned into anger.
M: How could I what? Love someone? Have feelings for someone? CARE about someone?
   Goppu rolled his eyes angrily.
G: I hope tum jaanti ho ki woh tumhari care nahin kerta, Manya! He's just playing with your feelings!
M: Acha? Aur tum yeh kaise jaante ho?
G: Isn't it obvious?! Play with the rival college's head cheerleader. Jo information hai game techniques ki woh nikalo!
M: WHAT?!
G: Haan! TUM jaanti ho ki har game mein hamara kaun sa team member kis ko overtake karega! YOU KNOW what our techniques are to win! YOU KNOW ki hamari strategy kya hogi! AND HE JUST WANTS THAT INFORMATION!
M: GOPPU!
G: Chilao muth, Manya! Hamari ghalti nahin hai ki tum-
   Roopa appeared, staring at them.
R: What's going on?
M: Roopa! Dekho na! Goppu kehta hai ki Akash mujhe sirf iss liye attention dhay raha hai kyun ki woh information chahta hai. Tell him its not true!
   Roopa looked at Manya with pity, surprising her.
M: Roopa-?
R: I'm sorry, Manya, but-
   Manya glared at them angrily.
M: UGH!
   She spun around on her heel and raced out of Jai Shree, crying.



   Manya raced into AD, noticing Akash in the basketball court with his friends. Without realizing it even, she raced into his arms. Sad PKEK music played as she clung onto him, crying. Akash, startled, dropped the basketball.
   Om whistled.
Om: YEH KYA? Jai Shree got that desperate?
A: Om, just shut up.
Om: What shut up? Aye, you, tum teek tho ho? You just come into our college and jump on someone like that?
   Manya let go of Akash.
M: Tum apne kaam se kaam rakho, Om!
Om: Kyun? Yeh kya koi nain chaal hai?
   Manya ignored him and looked at Akash, tears in her eyes.
M: Akash, sab keh rahe hain ki tum mujhe sirf iss liye pyar kerte ho kyun ki-
   Manya spilled out Goppu's words to him, crying. Akash stared at her, shocked.
A: Manya, yeh-
Om: PYAR? AKASH! Yaar tune yeh khel khela aur humein bataya bhi nahin?!
   He laughed hysterically and slapped Rehan a five.
Om: Man! Plan tho acha tha, lakein pakra gaya!
   Akash glared at him.
A: Om, its not-
R: Ab kya chupana yaar? Yes, Manya, he played you. We are terribly sorry...!
   They burst out laughing. Manya stared at Akash angrily.
   She shook her head and walked away, crying.
A: TEHRO!
   Manya stopped. She didn't turn.
M: Ab kya kehna chahte ho? That you're also sorry?
A: No, I-
M: Oh, of course! AD ka koi bhi insaan Jai Shree se sorry kyun bole ga!
A: MANYA! MERI BAAT SUNO!
   Manya raised her finger at him.
M: Apni awaaz neeche rakho, Akash! Main tumhara khilona nahin hoon!
A: Manya, listen to me. You heard wrong, I-
M: You what? Oh, yes, of course. Tum ghalat nahin ho, Akash. Tum tho bas apne college ki help ker rahe thay, right?
A: WHAT? Main tumse sach mein bahut pyar kerta hoon, Manya!
R: Akash, yaar, ab chod bhi na! Kyun ussai itna sata raha hai bechari ko-
A: I'm NOT LYING!
M: SHUT UP! Yeh-yeh sab tumhare dost hai na jo-inke saamne bahut bada banthe phirte ho right! Ladkiyun ke dil tho tumhare kuch bhi nahin hain-aur main tho tehri JAi Shree se!
A: Manya, Jai Shree has nothing to do with this!
M: Ek-ek COLLEGE RIVARLY ke peeche tumne kisi ki feelings hurt ki hain Akash!
A: BAS! AB MERI BAAT SUNO! I DO LOVE YOU! THIS IS ALL A LIE!
M: YOUR LOVE IS A LIE!
   She pushed him and raced off, crying. Akash stared after her.
   He punched the wall.
Om: Yaar, tu itna-
A: AYEEE!
   He raised his finger at Om angrily.
A: BAS!
   He strolled off, leaving Om and Rehan confused.
The song "Pehle Pyar Ka Pehla Gham" played as Manya and Akash both walked off in different directions...
