WELL I WAS JUST READING
THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS
WHEN I NOTICED SOMETHING I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND

AT THE END OF THE BOOK
RIDDLE STATES THAT
HE AND HARRY HAVE A LOT IN COMMON

HE ALSO MENTIONS THAT BOTH ARE
HALF BLOOD

HERES THE PROBLEM
HOW CAN HARRY BE HALF BLOOD??

LETZ SEE A FEW PEOPLE WHO ARE HALF-BLOOD
SNAPE: WITCH MOTHER
MUGGLE FATHER

VOLDEMORT: WITCH MOTHER
MUGGLE FATHER

HOWEVER IN HARRY'S CASE
HIS FATHER IS A WIZARD AND HIS
MOTHER IS A WITCH

AND ITS NOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE THAT
BEING A MUGGLE BORN(LILY)
HER SON WOULD BE HALF BLOOD

SO ISN'T HARRY A PUREBLOOD??????

Well, i need to go through the book. Cause i seriously cant remember any place where Riddle had said anything as such to Harry.

This,myluvrajat, is somethin even i couldn't understand...i think harry ought to b a pureblood......but u r rite in part 2 tom riddle does say so....

harry is a half-blood because lily was a muggle-born witch.it is true that lily was a witch but her parents were muggles.snape and voldermort are half-blood because their fathers were muggles

Pure blood are only those who have only pure-blooded parents.

to pure-blooded people muggle-born witchs/wizards are no better than muggles

Lily is a muggle-born. thats why Harry is a halfblood.

it depends on the family tree whether he/she is a pureblood or not. if anyone of the family is muggle or muggle-born, may it be the grandparent or great-great-great grandparent, he/she would be half-blood.

its evident in many characters' dialogues through-out the series.

Lily is a muggle born. Remember? In the first, Petunia reminecses on her disgust at there being a wizard in the family when Lily got her letter.
