Episode 225:
Meenatchi finds out about Azaki. Is feeling terrible and maintains distance from Seigai and Durai. She seeks forgiveness from her chithappa, as obviously, she blames herself for Azaki's death. She keeps going to her chithappa but he brushes her away, constantly digging that she is the cause of everything. He finally tells her, she can seek forgiveness by throwing away the Thali at Saravanan and come live in Azhaki's place.
Episode 226:
Seigai, Vandu and Chittu are talking at home. Seigai is joking around, but the other two are serious. Vandu tells him to speak with his mother, but Seigai is hesitant.
Meen and Durai are at temple. Durai asks Meen if she is happy, she asserts that she is, but Durai tells her not to lie to herself. He asks why she is keeping distance from Seigai. Meen says God is not very forgiving to her, and has destined her to be so.
Seigai, Shakti, Vandu and Chittu wait for Kamatchi. She walks by ignoring them. Seigai goes to talk to her. Tells her it is disturbing when your own family ignores you. Kamatchi demands why she should speak with him, so that they can joyfully tell her that she has been beaten. That they have won and gotten married. Seigai asks her what is she talking about, it was her that told him to marry Meen. Kamatchi says that in her kindness, she made a folly. She expected Meen to die and so said yes, but they lost Azhaki instead!! She can't bear to think of her brother now. She finally tells Seigai that he needs to leave Meen and come as her son. Seigai replies in the negative for which Kamatchi says, if so, she has her own plans of action.
So continues the saga of their love,....family story still not revealed.
All we can hope for is that this doesn't turn into a sacrifice fest:-), and that Seigai and Meen don't throw one another away due to the craziness of the elders, as the script is implying.
