Part 6

Armaan regains conciousness..

Next day morning.. Dr Keerti is checkin him.

 

Dr K: Dr Armaan kaisa feel kar rahe hain aap?

A: much better Dr Keerti.

Dr K: good. Kuch hi deeno mein aap purre thik ho jayenge.

A: thnk you Dr Keerti.

Dr K leaves. All interns enter including Atul.. but no Ridz

 

Atul: Armaan… yaar tu kaisa hain? Main ton ekdum tension mein aa gaya jab sabne mujhe bataya.

A: don't worry champ.. main thik hun.

He notices Muskaan who has tears in her eyes..

A: muskaan kya hua?

Muski starts to cry..

A feels uncomfortable with this sudden outburst… Anji & Atul lookin with curiousity…Rahool is concerned.

A: Muskaan dekh mein thik hun.. ok. Calm down now.

Armaan eyes are searchin for Ridz. He looks dejected tht she hasn't come to see him.

Anji: BTW Armaan yeh saab kaise hua?

Atul: haan yaar.. ab kahan pe lafda karke aaya hain.

A: Woh main…

All interns are called by Dr Keerti and leave. Muskaan is last… she is abt to say something when Armaan turns his face away.. thinking sadly..Muskaan turns slowly still looking at Armaan. Rahool sees this frm the door.

 

Armaan thinking.. "Riddhima itna saab ho gaya aur tum mera haal poochne bhi nahi aayee.. Lekin mujhe kyon aaisa lag raha hain ki kal raat tum yahan thi mere paas. Tumhe mein abhi bhi mehsuns kar sakta hun..yeh sirf mera bhram to nahi tha.. nahi I m sure who yahan aayi thi."

 

Anji returns: mein apna pager bhool gayi.

A: Anjali woh.. riddhima

Anji: Ridzzy… ussko thik nahi lag raha tha.. kal raat bahut der se ghar lauti…woh ghar pe rest kar rahi hain. Der se aaye gi.

A: Kal raat Riddhima mere saath thi?

Anji: Nahi.. kal raat Rahool tumhare saath tha. Ridz ko koi kaam tha ton der ho gayee. Ok mein chalti hun nahi ton Hitler mujhe mar dalegi (& leaves) 

Armaan is really depressed now.. he remembers Ridz words on the terrace and closes his eyes as if to forget all the hurt.

 

Next Scene

 

Dr Keerti is giving out duties: Dr Atul – general ward (he nods); Dr Anjali – aaj aap Dr Subh ko surgery mein assist karengi.

Anji: Thank you Dr Keerti

Dr K: Dr Muskaan – Cancer ward; Dr Rahool aap Dr Armaan ka case handle karenge aur general ward mein Dr Atul bhi assist karenge.

Muski: Dr Keerti.. (Dr K turns round Muskaan hesitates..)

Dr K: Yes Dr Muskaan…DR MUSKAAN.

Muski: Kuch nahi Dr Keerti.. I m sorry.

All leave to go to their repective duties.

 

Next Scene

Armaan is sleepin in his room.

Ridz comes & looks at him through the glass window..

Armaan suddenly opens his eyes as if he could feel her presence… He says her name softly & turns to look at the door expectin her to walk through it anytime soon.. but no one comes. He turns to the glss window but Ridz is gone.

Rahul entres..

Ra: Ton Armaan kaise hain aaj?

A (irritated): tu yahaan kya kar raha hain… Rahoool

Ra (rolls his eyes): main tere case handle kar raha hun.

A: Mujhe tujh jese Dr ki zarurat nahi. (Thn continues sarcastically..) Tune already meri bahut help ki hain. Ab mujhe teri aur help nahi chahiye. Thank you.

Ra: yaar teri problem kya hain? Tere liye koi care kare ton tujse saha nahi jata hain na. Tu yeh except kyun nahi kar sakta ki tujhe bhi chot lagti hain.. tujhe bhi dard hota hain..

A: dekh.. Rahoool mujhe teri bakwas nahi sunni. Ok. Aur meri sabse badhi problem yeh hain ki tu iss sanjeeveni mein kaam karta hain. Teri wajah se aaj meri life itni complicated ho gayi hain.. teri wajah se who mujhse.. (shakes his head angrily…) forget it.. just leave.

Ra (gives a big sigh): thik hain.. Dr Keerti se baat karke mein yeh case Riddhima ko handover kar deta hun.. Vaise bhi kal raat who kafi der tak tumhare saath thi. She knows ur case well.

A looks up at Rahool with surprise.

A: kal raat Riddhima yahan thi.. mere saath?

Ra: haan.. lekin pata nahi kyun tumhe jab hosh aane laga ton who chali gayi.. Ajeeb behave kar rahi thi.

 

A thinks to himself n gives a small saddish-happy smile. Rahool stares at him curiously.

A (jerks out of his thoughts): hey.. Rahoool kabhi mujhe dekha nahi kya.. jaldi check-up kar or ja yahan se.

Ra (shakes his head): crazy guy.. Starts to check Armaan; Dr K arrives.

Dr K: Dr Armaan.. kaise hain aap?

A: much better dr keerti.. bas ab jaldi se kaam pe wapas join karna hain.

Ra: BP normal, HR stable. ECG normal. Heamoglobin norma.

Dr K: Good. (to Armaan) General ward mein shift kar dete hain aapko.

A nods

 

Ra is walkin down the corridor; he remembers Armaan n Ridz past scenes ----

Ridz singin I Love you in tht song; Armaan jealous of him; Sapna's weddin AR dancing together, Valentine's day – Atul askin Armaan, " tu kahi Ridz ke liye ton nahi aaya na" & Armaan hesitatin; the changing roon episode; Ridz reaction when she comes to knw abt Muskaan episode; Armaan in Kasauli, fighitin; Ridz cheatin to go to get Armaan; Tension between AR after his return; Armaan in casualty & Ridz reaction; Ridz in armaan's room yesterday night..

Ra reaches locker room. He sits on a bench and rubs his forehead….

 

Ra: Armaan.. aur.. Riddhima… (sighs). Muskaan… bahut der ho jaye usse pehle mujhe Muskaan se baat karni hogi..
