I had the same problem a few years ago. I used to have VERY thick hair,
but it just kept falling and falling and it got really thin. 😭 The problem
was my shampoo - Herbal Essences. It made me lose massive amounts
of hair. Even after I stopped using that shampoo, my hair still kept
falling. That was because of dandruff. Then I started doing a series of
treatments and finally my hair grew back a little thicker and stopped
falling. Here are some things you can do:
1) First, consult your doctor and find out what is causing your hair loss.
The doctors didn't help me much. They just suggested dandruff
shampoo which makes you lose more hair. SO AVOID ANY DANDRUFF
SHAMPOO.
2) If you do have a dandruff problem, rub onion juice on your scalp in all
the places you have dandruff. I know this sounds weird and it smells, but
IT REALLY WORKS. Not only does it get rid of dandruff, but IT INITIATES
HAIR GROWTH. Tiny hairs will start growing on your scalp. When you put
the onion juice, leave it on for a couple of hours (until it dries) or leave it
on overnight like I do.
3) When you take a shower, rinse your hair with tea. Do not wash the tea
off with water afterwards. Make your final rinse with the tea and leave it
in. It won't smell or make your hair sticky. It is supposed to stop hair
loss.
4) Sometimes put some amla in your scalp. I don't mean amla oil, but
pure natural amla. It also stops hair loss and makes your hair darker.
But, MAKE SURE YOU WEAR GLOVES WHEN YOU TOUCH AMLA. It can
leave dark stains on your nails.
5) Think about the shampoo you currently use. Make sure it's not
making your hair fall out. If you have sensitive hair, I would avoid
shampoos like herbal essences, pantene, or any dandruff shampoo.
6) Take vitamins and nutrients like geritol, folic acid, and your daily
vitamins.
I know this sounds like a lot of work, but if you want your hair condition
improve, I highly suggest it. It has helped me a lot. My hair stopped
falling out rapidly and it is growing back little by little.
