World Day of Prayer
When there is no one around, it is just you, your heart and your thoughts. When you connect to the Almighty no matter who/or in what form he is to you. We call that passage between you and God, prayer. This day doesn't mean you should discontinue praying and wait for this day to arrive to pray every single year. Prayer should be done with a heart that needs no day or time for it. Prayer is done when one truly and heartily desires to. Prayer is done with devotion not with duty. Prayer is harmony that no sound can match up to. This day is just to remind one, to pray, to think, to feel where some days it might just slip our minds. It is also to add other people into your prayers.
When I think of prayer I think of forgiveness, of love, of spirit, of holiness. So let us put our hands together and forgive and forget and pray for everyone around you to be caressed with immense love and joy. You never know whose blessings and love bring light into someone's life.
There are numerous meanings to prayer and these were just my perspectives.
