The whole world watched Andrew Symonds utter a few words at Ishant Sharmaas he walked away after being bowled by the youngster, and Ishant retaliating by pointing towards the pavilion.

While Ishant was certainly in breach of clause 1.6 of the ICC Code of conduct, Symonds provocative action that started it all seems to have gone unpunished yet again. Rohit Sharma was also fined 10 per cent of his match fee for just standing his ground and walking off shaking his head during Gabba ODI against Sri Lanka on February 4.

Do you think the match referees pick on Indians and are generally soft on Aussies? Why is it that it's an Indian player who is always at the receiving end of match referees' actions? Could it be possible that the strong arm tactics deployed by the BCCI against ICC and other officials, as exemplified by the Harbhajan episode, mean that several officials are raring to have a go at the Indians?

Bitterness creeps in again, India lodge complaint

HOBART, February 25: The bitterness in the relationship between Indian and Australian cricketers has again crept in with the Indian team management on Monday lodging a written complaint with the Match Referee about the provocative behaviour of the home team.

The Indians, whose tour of Australia have been marked by a racism row and a series of on-field altercations, have threatened to take a "befitting action" if Ricky Ponting and his men persisted with such behaviour.

"We have written to the Match Referee Jeff Crowe and we will take a befitting action if it continued" Indian team manager Vimal Soni said.

I saw it now deepak in Star news and apna khoon boiled only looking at symonds swearing at ishaant....imagine how can a 19 yr boy take it...it's absolute nonsense....what did symonds expect that ishaant will put his head down in shame for making him bold.....atrocious,losers you r australia and symonds in particular........hope you lose the series in the end ...that will be a fitting tribute to the fairness in wch we played the game .

Because Ishant is an Indian and Symonds is an Aussie.

Btw, if you think only the Aussie players are arrogant. The team coach is even more arrogant.

Look at his comments:

"Australia's coach Tim Nielsen says India should stop concerning themselves with Australia's behaviour and focus on their own performance as they try to secure a spot against the hosts in the CB Series finals."

"Nielsen said he had no problem with the way his players were acting on the field.

"It's interesting how much the opposition teams are talking about what we're doing and at the moment as far as I can see we're the only team that's in the finals," Nielsen said in Melbourne as the team gathered ahead of Tuesday's Allan Border Medal. "It might be time for them to start looking in their own backyard.

"While they're worrying about us it's a good sign. We're the only ones at the moment that are confirmed in the finals and until they have their battle on Tuesday then front up on Friday, Sri Lanka against us, we won't know who our opposition is. So they've got plenty to worry about themselves." Angry

Angry ..then they might as well play among themselves....now we know where all the arrogance stems from....i still feel other than this cricket team,the whole of australia is okay....looks like the entire nation's ego,arrogance,sledging,bad behaviour,racisim has been embraced by this team and their coach Angry
