Yes, it annoyed me when they are showing lack of security. One of the first thing any woman alone in a hotel is to put the chain across to make sure it is locked.

This is common sense. The fact her room is ransacked alone should be good enough for her to do that, but did she do it? NO!. Second thing, you will call the reception/security of the hotel. Did she do it? Again, NO. In doing so, she can get her room changed too.

Then they show all the hotels in KL plus the ones with tight security, which is a No! No! to Kannama. Tsk... tsk... here I thought this is interesting serial, and the directors are going out of their way to prove me wrong! 😡 😡 😡

Nets/Roja - the hotel Kausalya was staying is Grand Seasons near KLGH. Tourists from India usually stays here.  Rapid Bus passes this hotel, so you can see the tourists getting this bus to go to KLCC. 😊 They have a good Indian restaurant and I heard the food is excellent. 😊 Edited by Caryn - 16 years ago

Episode No 10 Friday 15/2/08

Kannamma comes out and sees Karu drinking beer.
She goes to him and asks him about not sleeping.
He offers her a beer but she declines. He asks
her to go in and sleep -" I will put on the
aircon in the car and sleep" - but Kannamma
says that he should sleep in his own bed. Now
comes the best part - Kannamma wants to know why
Karu drinks like this and does he not know that
it is bad for health ( Lady, u have 1001 problems
yourself, attend to them. Do not poke your
nose in to his affairs, ok?? who gives u all
the right to walk all over others???) Karu says
that he has no interest in life and has no one
who cares for him.He says that it does not matter
if his health gets spoiled and asks her to sleep.
Kannamma goes and again comes back later to see
that Karu is sleeping in the chair itself.

Next day Karu goes around asking all and sundry
about Guna's family - he shows the photographs
to whoever cares to spare a minute and asks
whether they know any of these people. Finally,
he gets a clue and locates some girl who is
working in a restaurant. Goes to her,shows Sri's
photo and she panics. Karu probes but she refuses
to talk.

Karu comes back to Kannamma and tells her that
the girl must also be a victim of Sri's misdemeanor.
He wants that girl to testify against Sri which
will help in getting Bharathy out. He also says
that if Kannamma can go and goad her to talk, it
will be good. Kannamma first hesitates as she does
not know Malay but later approaches the girl.

Kannamma does a Bharatha nattiyam of sorts and
explains that her younger sister is in the prison
because of Sri and needs help from the girl. The
drama dragggsssss ( ayyo, I wanted to go and play
translator - get the agony over with!!) Finally
the girl shows a photo of hers with Sri and says
that she is also a victim. Karu walks in and wants
the confession to be done in the court but the
girl refuses and scoots. Kannamma is vexed and
starts crying - God that was really pathetic, this woman
can not cry to save her skin!!! - Karu says that he has
recorded the confession in his cell phone and that is
enough evidence to get Bharathy out. Kannamma
smiles and habbbba Roja heaved a sigh as well!!!
Karu comes to some place and he meets Guna -
Guna shouting, "hello sir, I am here" ....

(They were talking near a waterfront standing on
a bridge and my hubby made an excellent comment -
"if I were the director, i will make the cell
phone drop in to the water, that can take care
of some 50 more episodes" - God, hope my hubby
never goes any where near serial directors/story writers!!!)
