DK has completely blown it with Disha this time…………….but since we already know that these two will get together in the end, its alright I guess. But DK totally sucked in this episode and was every inch a meany to poor Disha who was kind of warming up to him a little bit!
The episode begins with Dev going to Suhas for asking her help in rescuing Disha from the Police Station, but he overhears Sukanya and Suhas fighting with each other and realizes that Suhas is in very big trouble. As he is about to leave, Suhas sees him and asks him why has he come here, Dev tries to put in a word for Disha, but Suhas who is already deluged with her own troubles refuses to listen to Dev about Disha and tells him to go away. A dejected Dev leaves the Bhosale house thinking that there is no option left but one, to rescue Disha from the prison.
At the Kanaka house, DK is alone in his living room and recollects his lawyers telling him that they have produced such concrete evidence against Disha that even the best of the best lawyers in the country will not be able to get her free from the clutches of law. As DK listens half-interested, half-lost, they tell him that in lieu of Disha being implicated in the attempted murder of DK, the Contract will lose its validity and DK can easily get rid of Disha. When the lawyers leave, DK suddenly remembers the moment when he had wrapped Disha in his arms in the Police lock-up (when he had bailed out Inder), then he remembers him holding her hand and both of them looking in each other's eyes intensely (this was the scene when Disha had come from Ranu's vidai and DK had asked about her whereabouts). He abruptly comes out of his trance and shakes his head as if physically trying to shake off Disha's thought from his mind and heart. DK plops himself on the couch with a weary expression and closes his eyes, when Gargi comes in and congratulates him for landing Disha in real trouble. He gets a maddened look in his eyes and just ignores her completely. Gargi then tries to lick up to DK by saying that Disha deserved what has happened to her and that she was trying to act too smart and was getting big for her boots. DK mordantly retorts back that it is really none of Gargi's concern what relationship he shares with Disha or how he gets rid of her. Gargi is not one to be easily shaken off, she goes on about how concerned she is about DK and that she had noticed that Disha was proving to be a headache for him.
Just then Disha walks in, as an astounded DK and Gargi look on. Disha just keeps looking at DK with a "Why did you do this to me?" type of expression and has an aggrieved look in her eyes. She says to DK that she had never in her wildest dreams imagined that DK would take their conflict to such a low level as to incriminate her with such a heinous crime. Disha says in a hurt and betrayed voice that when she heard about DK being admitted in the hospital, she was worried sick for him and the only thing concerning her was his well-being and not the fact that he had named her as a suspect in poisoning him. And even after being freed from the Police lock-up, the only thing in her mind was to ensure that DK was all right. Disha tells DK that he has touched the lowest levels of humanity today by trying to entrap Disha in the charge of his attempted murder just to get out of their Marriage. As DK looks at Disha shocked, angry and guilty, she tells him that the more devious plans he conceives against her, she will fight back equally and that she will do anything and everything to ensure that DK is not able to get out of this marriage at all. Gargi in a her false, sugar-coated manner tries to intervene and play to both the sides by accusing and sympathizing with Disha, who in turn completely ignores her, perhaps she has understood her real character. DK calls up the Police Station to ask how did Disha get free that too without anyone to bail her out and looks bewildered as he disconnects the phone, at hearing the reason.
Disha, looking so defenseless and lost searches for Dev and when she is not able to locate him, goes back to her room despondently only to look at DK sitting in a very relaxed manner on her Bed. Disha who is majorly put off with him tells him that he must be indeed very disappointed now that she is free. DK has no expression on his face, asks her how did she get free when every evidence pointed against her and his lawyers had built up an invincible case against her. Disha is clearly revolted with DK and tells him that the Police had no case against her and obviously since she had no involvement in any crime against anyone and most importantly that DK had never been poisoned as was apparent, the Police had common-sense to let her go Scott free. DK just stares intently at Disha and asks her does she know where Dev is at the moment. Disha says that she too was looking for him, but couldn't find him. As Disha listens incredulously, DK tells her in a stone cold voice that Dev had confessed to the Police that he was the one who had poisoned DK and that is why the Police had let Disha go. Disha still cannot believe what she heard and asks DK why would Dev do such a thing. DK retorts back sharply that even he wants to know why would Dev do such a thing for Disha.
In the next scene, Disha goes to meet Dev in the lock-up and is extremely pained to see him there for no crime of his. Disha asks him why did he own up for this, Dev looks at Disha with affection and love and tells her that he couldn't have seen Disha being hauled up for no fault of hers and that DK had trapped her so cleverly that not even the best of lawyers could have bailed her out. Disha is frustrated with herself and tells Dev that she had thought of changing her attitude towards DK, and that she had never imagined that DK would stoop to such level to just get even with her. Disha promises Dev that she will free him, come what.
Disha goes back home and tries to convince DK by pleading in front of him to help release Dev. DK who is now looking very guilty replies back to Disha that his intention was not to land Dev in lock-up but to teach Disha a lesson, but now that Dev has sacrificed himself by admitting to poisoning DK, he will not take back his complaint as that will make him look like a fool in front of the Police and the Media when they come to know of this. Disha appeals to DK that Dev has been with DK for the past 20 years and has given him love like a father and that it is DK's duty to save Dev from a crime that he has not even committed. DK refuses to budge and Disha is crestfallen and wonders how will she go about trying to free Dev from getting indicted.
