Mandazi Recipe - African Taste

This is a delicious donut-like pastry. Serve them warm for breakfast.

Mandazi 1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 cups white flour
2 tsp. baking powder

Mix all the ingredients together, adding more flour if necessary. The dough should be soft, but not sticky. Roll the dough on a lightly floured board until it is about 1/4 inch think. Cut into triangles and fry in hot oil.

This is Hw it will Look Like, Have with a Tea/Coffee in the morning😳

Just came on line........ one Icelandic girl brought something similar to Mandazi this morning but it was twisted stick and I told her about my mom making Mandazi in Africa......... did not know the recipe of course.

Now I will most definitely make for X'mas and bring it to the Univ.  Thankooooooos!!!!!😳
