I dun really read too many novels that can be branded as "war related"...
I loved Les has the French war...

ohhh war novels are the best...some of them give you insight on how one perceives the war which helps you understand why it took place...i love Catch-22 ....its really awesome...

My favorite war novel HAS to be Margaret Mitchell's 'Gone With The Wind'.  Not just because I am interested in the American Civil War and AFrican American history but because of the richness of the narrative and the fascinating characters throughout.....
